Usage:

Schani Moong Whole can be used to prepare delicious and healthy meals in a few simple steps. Here are some tips on how to use it:

Wash and soak the moong whole in water for 6-8 hours or overnight.

Drain the water and rinse the moong whole well. You can use the soaked moong whole to make curry by cooking it with oil, onion, tomato, ginger, garlic, green chilies and spices of your choice. Serve hot with rice or roti.

You can also use the soaked moong whole to make dosa by grinding it with rice, salt and water to make a smooth batter. Ferment the batter overnight and then spread it on a hot griddle to make thin and crisp dosas. Serve with chutney and sambar.

Another way to use the soaked moong whole is to make idli by grinding it with rice, salt and water to make a coarse batter. Ferment the batter overnight and then steam it in idli moulds to make soft and fluffy idlis. Serve with chutney and sambar.

You can also use the soaked moong whole to make vada by grinding it with salt, green chilies, ginger, curry leaves and asafoetida to make a thick paste. Shape the paste into small balls and deep fry them in hot oil until golden and crisp. Serve with chutney and sambar.

You can also use the raw moong whole to make sprouts by soaking it in water for 6-8 hours and then draining it. Keep it in a moist cloth or a sprout maker for 2-3 days until you see small white tails emerging from the seeds. Rinse the sprouts well and use them to make salad, sandwich, chaat or stir-fry.
